About Our Programs

Tadpole (Ages 5-8)

Specially designed for first-time campers, our Tadpole Session offers 3 nights of summer camp fun with extra staff support to ensure our youngest campers have a positive summer camp experience!

Junior (Ages 8-12)

Our Junior Sessions offer a 5-night classic summer camp experience including swimming, canoeing and kayaking, out-tripping, faith exploration, sports and games, arts and crafts, and more!

Intermediate (Ages 10-14)

Our Intermediate Sessions are the perfect, 5-night balance between Junior and Senior age groups.  They include all the Kidston classics like swimming, canoeing and kayaking, out-tripping, faith exploration, sports and games, arts and crafts, and more!

Senior (Ages 12-16)

Camp Kidston offers two different options for Senior age campers.

Our Classic Senior Session offers 5 nights of Kidston fun - swimming, canoeing, kayaking, out-tripping, sports and games, arts and crafts, faith exploration, and more - but with extra adventure and leadership options added in to best suit teen campers!

Our Wilderness Senior Session focuses on outdoor education and leadership skills.  Daily programming centers around out-tripping (camping) skills, canoeing/kayaking, swimming and water activities, leadership and team-building, and environmental awareness.  This includes the opportunity to plan and participate in extended overnight out-trips (weather-permitting) to campsites across Kidston's property around Long Lake.  Of course, this session still includes Kidston favourites such as sports and games, arts, campfires, and faith exploration!

Leadership Programs
Junior Leader (Ages 14-16)
Counsellor-In-Training (Ages 15-17)

Our Junior Leader and CIT Programs are designed for youth to develop leadership skills and learn how to create safe and brave spaces for themselves and others. Working closely with Camp Kidston’s Personnel Director and Leadership Program Assistant these programs offer the team building and unique opportunities to reflect upon self, community, and personal spiritual/philosophical beliefs

More information and detailed FAQs on both Leadership Programs can be found here.
