We welcome organizations to make use of our facilities in the off-season (the final weekend in August through to mid-June).
Groups including church congregations, school groups, Cadets, Girl Guides and Scouts, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax, and family reunions have all taken advantage of the nature and beauty that Camp Kidston has to offer. Kidston overlooks Long Lake and has a swimming area, baseball field, and trails for nature walks.

A heated building houses a large modern kitchen, open dining hall/play area, and areas for indoor programs. It will accommodate 90 campers and their leaders for winter.
Four unheated, rustic cabins accommodate up to 20 people each. One is insulated and accessible.
Fully equipped washroom facilities and showering areas with in-floor heating makes this comfortable to use summer and winter!
A heated, 6 bedroom building for 9 adults with 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette, and 3 common rooms - well suited to accommodate adult retreats, meetings, reunions, or other group events .

Surrounded by over 500 acres pristine woods, Camp Kidston offers an oasis of nature in the northeastern corner of HRM.
